I don't even remember the last time that I wrote on LJ. I've decided to start up again after being inspired by Janice. My inspirational friend!
Things in my life are pretty great lately. Ive got a good bunch of friends who are always up for hanging out and doing things after work. I feel like I never stop most days and I love that.
Single and loving it! Started crushing on a helicopter pilot earlier this summer. I saw him from afar across a bar and thought he was awsome. A few weeks ago now I met him at my staff christmas party when i was leaving. He was in the parking lot waiting for a ride and I was too. We struck up a conversation and he seem really sweet. We shared a ride home. When he got out of the car to let me out, he said "wow it was really nice to meet you" and when he closed the door he shut like a gentleman. oh how sweet.
After that I added him on Face book as friends. We have chatted a couple of time on the live chat. This past Friday night we chatted for an hour or so, I asked him if he was going out and he said that he was waiting until Saturday night.
Since Saturday night we haven't connected. I dont really know what to do next. i would love to go for a coffee or a drive with him to just get to know him more. The only problem is that Im just way to shy to ask. Im not really getting flirty vibes from him, so Im thinking that maybe he is dating someone or something. However on his profile it states single.
I guess I will have to wait it out.
In other news Im super excited about Christmas and am really looking forward to getting home.

Finished exams!!! It feels so good to be done! I havent done anything to celebrate though. Just relaxed, thats pretty good if you ask me. Id rather relax with a new book and a good drink. I went to bed last night at 12ish, I started to read Kate Chopin's The Awakening. It appears to be an interesting read.
My boy is gone for the weekend. Im ready for him to come home now. I was just talking to him, he says he might come back a little early, he was going to come Tuesday, but he might leave today, or tommorow.
Its is absolutely beautiful here. The tempature is plus 13. Winter seems so far away.
I down loaded some Micheal Buble last night! I am offically inlove with this man!!! His voice makes my belly do flops! Hes wonderful, I think I might purchase the CD. Now thats love!

It seems like forever since I updated. Been kinda busy with life lately.
Made a new resolution to update my journal at least every couple of days. Its so fun to look back on and to see what was happening in your life a few months ago.
My girl Nancy has started a new journal and now I have to get back into it all again... In fact I missed it a little. She has been after me to update and Ive started a few times but can never think of anything to write, so I guess the first one will have to be just a blabber on about whats been happening.
I met this really nice guy Bob. Hes sweet and nice and funny. Im a bit nervous about it all because I dont know whats going to happen with us. Id like to have something a little substantial but I dont know what will come of all of this. As of right now I cant find anything that really is wrong with him. hehe! but You know me Im sure Ill find something soon, hey hes a guy.
Janice is coming for a visit this weekend! Im super excited! I cant wait to see her, its been almost 4 months since I saw her. Im excited that I will be spending some quiet time together. No downtown, no bars, just me a my girl!

My mom is writing this for me because you know i am only 7 days old. She said you were really good to us eversince you found out i was on the way. you were just as excited as she was maybe even more cause she was so sick at first it was no fun for her with dad gone and all.
But mom said you helped her take care of me from the start from bring cherry blossoms, chicken burgers,or just falling asleep in the chair so we would not be home alone. and then all the phone calls when you went to school i heard them all you know some about me and some about you..and somethings i don't think i was suppose to hear but thats ok cause i was sleeping in mom belly most of the time anyway and i woun't tell my big brother terrell he seems to be the one who talks the most since i came along hahahaha your secrets safe with me.......
So mom and dad and even my big brothers Darnell and Terrell think it would be great if you would come home and be my godmother. mom said she will even help you with the trip cause we don't know when it is going to be yet so you cam call us later and let us know your answer but with a face so cute and so much like my brother which i understand you don't say many no's to i know you will be happy to do this for us.

Okay, it seems like dog days since I wrote in my LJ!
I dont evn know where to begin to let you all know whats new with me.
Im now moved into my new appartment. Its wonderful! I love it.
Ive been dating this guy Jason. Hes wonderful... or at least I think he is this week. I tend to have changes in my thoughts on men.
Im working with the wedding planner as her assistant. Ive been there for 4 weeks. Im really enjoying it. Ive been all over St. Johns and have seen all kinds of cool things.
Janice is coming in town the last of the month and Im so excited. I cant wait to see her and to hang out. I just waiting for that.
The Salmon Festival is on Satnight. I wont be going. I cant belive it to tell you the truth, but I cant afford it. It just seems like to much money. Oh well... I guess Ill just spend Sat night at home bauling!

Spent the WHOLE day helping my cousin Tara move into her new appartment. Its a brand new house that has never been lived in before. A beautiful home. Shes really excited about it. We had to go to make 5 trips back to her old place to bring things over. The car was chinched! It was a nice day however.
Going out tonight with my friend Sandra. Her sister is having her bachlorette party tonight. Im sure that its going to be highly interesting. I cant wait to see how its going to turn out.
Im sooooooooo excited about moving into my new appartment. Its a great place and I cant wait to get my things over there and make it my own home. Im very excited!

I made it home safe and sound!
It was quite the adventure however!
I left St. John's aon Wednesday on last week and drove to Grand Falls where I spent the night with my cousin Daisy. We had a very nice time! I met her Beau, whom I think is very nice and very funny, and in my books a funny guy is a great guy to have around.
I left Grand Falls on Thursday Morning at 10:30ish, to drive down the coast. Thinking I had all day, because I wasnt getting my ride across the straits until Friday morning I was taking my dead time and doddeling along. I get a phone call from my cousin Tara, (who I was getting a ride with) she said that her Dad was on the way. Ohno! I have to hurry up! I put the pedal to the metal and scooted down the coast in record time!
I came across the straits in a long liner. Now this is a small boat. Its a boat used to Crab fish.... (ill insert a photo of the boat later!)
Its a 1 1/2 boat ride. About half way caross I started to fell queasy and though for sure I was going too loose my cookies.. but i didnt! Horray! It was quite the time!
So i made it home safe and sound! Thank the lord!
Im having a great time!

Crazy Busy this week!
I had my first exam on Monday, and spent Sunday night, all day Monday and all today at the library. I find I can get so much more accomplished at the library, because everyone else is working and you feel like a slacker if your the only one not doing anything. My home away from home!
I came down with a interesting case of Laryngitis. I woke up Sunday morning and was unable to talk, and its lasted right through to today. This is the longest time that Ive had my voice gone. Strange. I try and talk and i sound like a frog. I hate it!
I applied for a few different jobs here in town, hoping that I will be able to get one for this summer, it would be great!
Have to do some laundry, because my closet has more dirty cloths than it has clean. Not too good!
Heres hoping I get my voice back soon!
